Mission
This is the website of the Pacific Northwest Chapter of the American Society for Information Science and Technology. The purpose of the Chapter is to provide an organization through which members of ASIS&T in Washington, Oregon, and the surrounding areas may participate in and carry forward the programs and purposes of ASIS&T. We’ll provide professionals and students in library & information sciences and related disciplines with opportunities to network, share best practices, spark innovation, and socialize.
As an interdisciplinary organization, we will collaborate with related professional associations to provide our members with a “big picture” perspective and a vital link between theory and practice.
